Amicus Construction was established in 2018 by co-founders Steve Charleston and Andrii Siechnyi.
After first being introduced on a project at the Harrods department store in 2012, both men worked together in the same construction management team for the next six years.
During this time, they successfully completed the phased redevelopment of three Harrods retail departments at the flagship store in Knightsbridge, converted the former Electrolux headquarters in Slough into 52 apartments and carried out the major refurbishment of a Georgian residence (Grade II listed) in Montpelier Terrace, Knightsbridge.

Amicus started to secure its first contracts in 2018. Successfully carrying out ever more complex and larger scale projects during the next two years, the company was rewarded with its first multi-million pound project in early 2020.
Amicus’s rapid but controlled growth has proudly been achieved without any outside promotion or marketing, or the need to acquire financial credit facilities.
Our work – mainly carried out in the London area and surrounding counties – is expertly managed and overseen by our principal directors, Steve Charleston and Andrii Siechnyi. Both are extensively qualified and have a wide range of experience in the UK and European construction sectors.

Primarily operating as a main/principal contractor, Amicus can take on any construction project up to the value of £3 million.
Whether it be new build, refurbishment, alterations or conversions, we have the in-house skill and knowledge to undertake the most complex and demanding projects.
We view each contract as a challenge and pride ourselves on finding the right solution from the very outset.
As a London based contractor, we are well versed in working on compact sites, with limited access and little storage facilities. We are also used to working in occupied premises and have developed strategies to ensure our activities are carried out safely and with minimum impact on the surrounding environment.
In the relatively short space of time that Amicus has been in existence, we have carried out a wide range of works and have successfully completed projects in the retail, arts, commercial, industrial and residential sectors.
